KEMET Corporation (KEMET), manufactures tantalum capacitors, multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), and solid aluminum capacitors. KEMET manufactures a line of capacitors, including tantalum, multilayer ceramic and solid aluminum. Most customers buy both tantalum and ceramic capacitors from the Company. KEMET manufactures these types of capacitors in many different sizes and configurations. The Company produces surface-mount capacitors, which are attached directly to the circuit board without lead wires, and leaded capacitors, which are attached to the circuit board using lead wires.

• IDEA-ICE-3000 (72-point) visual inspection by (3) different quality inspectors.
• Data sheet verification of all parts.
• Acetone swab test on sample pieces.
• Extensive views under our macro zoom (200x) microscope for quality detection.
• Digital photos of all outgoing Kemet parts.
• We maintain a strict approved vendor list (AVL).

Some of these measurements include customer surveys, on-time delivery and customer complaints.
