About Sipex

Sipex was a semiconductor company known for designing and manufacturing high-performance analog integrated circuits. It specialized in power management, interface, and optical storage solutions, catering to a variety of applications in consumer electronics, communications, and industrial markets. Sipex's innovative products aimed to enhance efficiency and performance, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Exar Corporation in 2007.

Sipex chips show up in all sorts of complex electronic gear. The company makes more than 1,000 kinds of analog integrated circuits, including interface transceivers that help PCs communicate with peripherals and devices, power management circuits for handheld electronics, and power regulators used in industrial controls. It also makes photodetector chips and laser diode drivers used in optical storage systems. • Data sheet verification of all parts.
• Acetone swab test on sample pieces.
• Extensive views under our macro zoom (200x) microscope for quality detection.
• Digital photos of all outgoing Sipex parts.
• We maintain a strict approved vendor list (AVL).
